What to Expect In September from Indie Media Today

Taking the month to catch up on old projects, more writing, get a break from How Did We Miss That

Hi Everyone!

I feel like I fall short sometimes communicating what’s going on with everything I work on every week, and I’m sorry for that.

Not sure how many of you even noticed the dropoff in posts/emails so far this month, but we are taking September off from our Sunday night show, How Did We Miss That.

That’s freed up some time to work on other projects, like:

• Continuing to record new episodes of Nobody Wants to Work Anymore and American Tradition on

  Indie News Network

• Continuing to support Misty with her daily Substack featuring that day’s guest for her TNT Radio show M-F, plus a week in review wrapup published on Sunday - subscribe at

  What’s New and News with Comrade Misty

• Continuing to publish the INN weekly update & the INN weekly calendar

• Trying to be active on Substack Notes, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, plus help manage the INN accounts for all those platforms

• I have some thoughts on labor, organizing, the celebrated influx of corporate media “personalities” to Substack & more - planning to publish articles about these this month

• Trying to dust off the Friends of Indie Left interview podcast series, but it’s almost halfway through the month and nothing done yet. Maybe in the 2nd half. Scheduling and availability is a challenge

• New items added to the merch store! Indie Media Awards collection

  

• More internal outreach to the INN members on how to better support them all

• Hoping to do a couple of appearances on other shows, we’ll have to see how it works out

• Still looking for a full time job (hence the motivation behind the “Nobody Wants to Work Anymore” show)

• Back to school for 3 kids, etc.
